Brain Mapping (QEEG)

Reboot QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) measures brainwave activity and converts it into brain maps. During the session, sensors are gently attached to the scalp using paste, recordings are taken with eyes open and eyes closed which allows us to identify how your brain functions. This approach gives us the ability to customize your training by matching what areas are dysregulated with your symptoms. As we train those areas, symptoms improve.

What to Expect:

“Measurement” of brain’s electrical activity

Customized training with frequent data tracking

Used to guide treatment planning

Neurofeedback

Reboot Neurofeedback uses both visual (games) and auditory (music or tones) feedback that reflects real-time brain activity. This feedback helps the brain learn to regulate itself more efficiently over time, which reduces symptoms and improves overall functioning. Neurofeedback is non-invasive, gentle and safe. No electrical current is introduced into the brain.

How Neurofeedback Works:

Improves brain function

Real-time feedback

Drug-free and non-invasive

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a somatic (body-focused) therapy that helps change what you believe about yourself due to past or present negative experiences. Accessing deeply stored emotions and beliefs in the body gets to the root of symptoms, instead of only working at the surface. This approach leads to long-lasting, dramatic transformations. It can be used to process current stressors for immediate relief, as well as known future stressors such as flying or public speaking.

How EMDR Supports Change:

Targets underlying belief systems

Meaningful shifts in a shorter timeframe

Trauma-informed and evidence-based

Talk Therapy

Talk therapy, often referred to as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), involves exploring thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to build insight, develop coping strategies, and support emotional regulation. Each EMDR session contains within it a time period of talk therapy, but talk therapy may also be used on its own at times. We highly favor doing as much EMDR as the client can tolerate, due to its transformational nature.

What Therapy Focuses On:

Building awareness and coping skills

Supporting emotional regulation

Integrates well with other therapies
